Elad, one of our bloggers, is the creator of this site, as well as the webmaster. After seeing so many of his friends and colleagues constantly creating beautiful pieces of art that were posted all over the web and hidden away on their computers (and out of a fit of boredom) he decided to create Our Open Mic. The idea was to have a place where they, and anyone else that was interested, could share their art in a community that encouraged artistic adventure and personal growth.

These are not blogs in the sense most people think of them. They are blogs whose main emphasis is the artwork done by our contributors. Although there will be normal blogs as well, the focus on our site is on art and enriching the internet. Check out the tags (under the bloggers on the left menu) to go straight to a certain art form.
